You will be hosted by a traditional Japanese family, so upon understanding their limits and routine, being considerate to family members and respecting Japanese tradition, you will have a fantastic experience. Very good rooms and infrastructure, fantastic value for the money.

It was near to the middle of town and train station but hidden away and needed much better directions to get therefree net access

Ebisu Nagasaki is a clean bed. very good for a one-night stay, but absolutely nothing more. Location is very convenient, just minutes away from the JR Nagasaki Station, but about 30 minutes away from the attractions of Nagasaki. Computer use and free net are limited to 15 minutes per person, which basically lets you to log on and off, and shower times are restricted. Inside the morning you can take a shower in between 6:30 and 9 am, but we misunderstood the owner`s English and thought she said "from" 9 am. Needless to say she did not let us take a shower after 9, and we spent the day walkig around town smelly. We would not suggest this location to anyone looking for very good price/quality accomodation: there is certainly no cooking area and no real common area.

Very outstanding location, friendly staff. You can decide on Japanese or European style for your bedroom.
