I liked the size of the double room and the roof terrace. The staff were extremely helpful and the place just has a great vibe.

Two free computers and wifi. Staff are friendly and helpful. The common room area is good and the coffee for breakfast is nice. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with and the hostel is close to a number of supermarkets, a metro stop and bus stops.

The hostel is pretty basic, but the staff are very helpful and very willing to offer advice. It was extremely dirty though and only got cleaned once a day which meant to toilets/showers were filthy by morning. They need more staff!

Not too far from Plaza Serrano this hostel has dorms with good mattrasses and a good shower with really hot water and awesome pressure. Privacy while showering is reduced though, as there's only some curtains, separating the showers from the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast is nice: White bread, butter, marmelade, real coffee and milk are served. The walk from Medrano metro station took us about 20min.

What I liked the most about Vanilla house was the staff. They were always in a good mood, always willing to help. The common areas are spacious and well equiped. I loved the bedroom, the mattresses are just great. Everything was very clean, great bathrooms, and I met tons of interesting people (certainly a plus)

I originally booked an eight bed dorm but as they had a four bed dorm free they said i could use that one to myself, which was nice of them. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is served until 11, nice neighbourhood and spacious double room with private spacious bathroom. The common room and kitchen are fully equipped with everything you need. They also offer a very nice terrace with gill for eating and hanging out.
