Mabel goes out of her way to help and provide advice on your specific interests. A neighbour prepared us breakfast each day for a little extra, and kept us advised on the weather and other general information. The place is private and properly kept. There is air conditioning inside the bedroom and space to unpack. Though on a silent side street, the location is quite central and most points of interest inside walking distance for myself, the children prefered getting coco taxi cab cabs of course!

Mabel is an absolute gem - she welcomed us with open arms, gave us a brilliant introduction to Havana and, most importantly, really helped us with our onward journey - the places she suggested and booked for us in Cienfuegos and Trinidad were superb. Her neighbour who cooks a pretty breakfast (and dinner if you want) is just as sweet and her food and coffee is superb. It&'s conveniently located for all parts of town - it&'s a short cab ride to the centre and right next to the bus station.

I really liked staying at Mabel&'s house, she has a amazing cook called Belgize that live&'s upstairs and does breakfast and traditional Cuban dinner for Mabel&'s guests. The woman makes awesome dishes for NO money. The home is situated a little outside but it takes 10 mins. with a bus so you get to see how the local lives which is really cool if you&'re travelling all the way to Cuba. They were very helpful and wonderful. My stay there could not have been better, i would reccomend them any day and am defenetly staying there myself if i return one day.

Mabel's House was wonderful accommodation, close to the airport, the city, bus station and Revolution Square and other attractions. We highly recommend this accommodation. We cannot say enough about Mabel and this place. Fantastic. !

We had the whole apartment to ourselves and we could order breakfast and dinner from the neighbour (very cheap). Mabel is such a friendly and helpful person. When we came back to Havana after staying at Mabel's a week earlier we didn't have a reservation and her apartment was booked out, she took us to a friend of hers where we could stay for the rest of our stay. We would highly recommend this place. The neighbours are nice and the little pub/store on the corner is a fun place to meet some locals. The apartment is also walking distance to Capitolio and Plaza Vieja.
