Monu Family Paying Guest HouseAccommodation Type : Guesthouse To save time for the high-powered, we are a budget guesthouse, so it is with regret that we can not offer the high standards of large establishments. We are small and cosy, we are excellent company. but we Dont have a swimming pool area! It has family atmosphere. Price range more like hostel. Restructured and furnished from top to bottom in 2008, with western loos and h/c showers. Rooms are accessible with attached bathroom, cold and hot shower.

The whole household was really friendly and always willing to help out. Tidy rooms with great shower/toilet, superb location a short walk from the river, great value for money.

They where so friendly and gave us excellent info and tips for our stay. The rooms were clean and tidy. They organised a sunrise boat tip which was very private and hassle free. Other boats had tourists packed onto them and were getting hassled by boating hawkers. We did not and it was an outstanding price. Free wireless ! You have to go to the Brown Bread Bakery which is near by. I would stay here again !

Loved this place! Monu rocks the tabla, and both he and his household are all helpful and friendly! Tons of character in this enchanting place, a stunning rooftop to chill out on and watch the monkeys hanging out, and a fantastic location, right by the ghats inside the Old City! Extremely suggest this place, and if I&'m in Varanasi again, this is exactly where I&'d try to stay! Fantastic optional services, including learning to play the tabla from Monu. =D

Highly recommend this place, and if I'm in Varanasi again, this is where I'd try to stay! Great optional services, including learning to play the tabla from Monu. =D
