The staff at Anne-Marie hostel went out of their way to ensure my stay was a happy one, no matter what time of day or night all questions ( and there were a few! ) were answered. There is a very good size cooking area for cooking, excellent Web access and rooms were cleaned properly each day. You do get what u pay for, but all needs are met at this hostel.

The location was very close to several museums and close to a tram stop. It was inside walking distance of great nightlife.

I really liked the small rooms, they were much much more quiet than the larger alternatives. Free breakfast and no cost computer access was amazing to have!

The rooms are nice and spacious and it has a wonderful location. I accidentlly mixed up the dates that we were meant to be travelling and the property owner really helped us out. He was really patient with me as id only had 2 hrs sleep and he toook the time to explain the cost break down to me about 5 times. The beds are comfortable and he was more than pleased to help me charge my camera on their computer whilst we were out. Really straightforward to get to from each amstel and central station. Breakfast is very good although could go for another half an hour to give you a bit more time to get up and going for the day. Kitchen is wonderful as well.

The location is near the Museum area, and there&'s a marketplace near the building, that&'s quite convience. You can use cooking area and computer as your own. The employees is friendly.
