These people were fantastic along with the hostel was nice and had everything that I needed and it had a great location!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. didn't push the treking etc. helped us book the things we wanted to do and asked how much we enjoyed them. Bathrooms perhaps a bit basic but no more than we expected! As older 'backpacker' we appreciated the calm atmospere and the peace away from the young, party crowd.

Not Much! Most of the staff were unhelpful and grumpy. We had an ant infestation in our bathroom and also the hotel guide was miss leading.

It was very dirty when I came in. The bathroom full of dark dust. Even parts of the clothes were not clean. They came in every day to makeup the room, but the didnt clean the floor. I dont understand that, because the price is higher than other places.

I do not suggest this place, not because it is necessarily a bad location to stay at, but because there are simply a PLETHORA of better, equally priced places to stay in Chiang Mai. Hotel staff are professional, but sometimes indifferent to guest situations, like lack of hot water. If you are wanting a shower with reliable warm water and great water pressure, do not stay here. Decent location, great at booking trips/tours from the hotel.

Very friendly staff, absolutely nothing too much trouble, a bit far out from the primary town centre, but was welcomed by us after the mayhem of the Khao San!
